RDS Exhibition

Art Source 2026 — RDS Dublin

13–15 November 2026

Where memory meets the wildness of the sea.

I'm delighted to be participating in Art Source at the RDS Dublin this November, where I'll be presenting a new collection of figurative paintings inspired by the sea, childhood memories and our mysterious connection to the natural world.

Where Memory Meets the Sea

Some of my most vivid childhood memories are of summers spent with my family in Spain. The warmth of the sun on my skin, the smell of the sea, sand between my toes and that wonderful feeling of freedom that comes from being in the water.

I remember floating, listening to the sounds beneath the surface, feeling suspended between two worlds. There was something both comforting and mysterious about it, a sense of freedom, curiosity and wonder that has never really left me.

Those memories have found their way into this new collection.

The Wildness Within

The sea has always fascinated me. Its beauty, its movement, its unpredictability. One moment calm and inviting, the next wild and untamed.

In these paintings, I explore the relationship between that wildness and our own human nature.

Fish, water and human figures intertwine, moving between the familiar and the imagined. The boundaries between the human world and the underwater world begin to dissolve.

Through expressive colour, layered textures and luminous copper leaf, I explore themes of identity, transformation, freedom and our instinctive connection to nature.

There is something of ourselves in the sea,  its energy, its mystery, its constant movement and change.
