Femina Natura - 8th to 18th August
Femina Natura
'Nature is like a woman who enjoys disguising herself, and whose different disguises, revealing now one part of her and now another, permit those who study her and to assiduously hope that one day they may know the whole of her person'- Diderot."
Femina Natura is a group exhibition by KASP (Kilkenny Artist Support Project) founding members Pilar Cereto, Ani Mollereau and Krisztina Rozanich. ‘Femina Natura’ came about through a symbiosis between these three strong, individually minded women. The quote by French philosopher and art critic Denis Diderot will perhaps help guide the viewer of this exhibition to find the common link between these three different artists and their approaches to the theme of nature which runs through their work. In "Femina Natura," the combined efforts of Cereto, Mollereau, and Rozanich create a rich tapestry of natural beauty, emotion, and transformation. Through their individual yet interconnected approaches, they celebrate the complexity and diversity of nature, inviting viewers to appreciate its many disguises and, in turn, reflect on their own relationship with the natural world.
